Our team went above and beyond.

Brandon kept the shop running smoothly, listing and organizing countless microscopes to keep inventory fresh.

Michael handled every shipment with precision, making sure every lab received their scopes on time and in perfect condition.

Danny took on a heavy load of repairs — rebuilding stages, tuning optics, and bringing life back to some tough cases.

Cody, Walker, and Alex were out in the field, tackling microscope service calls, ensuring researchers and pathologists had the tools they need to keep doing what they do best.

Chad and Scott — owners, business partners, and longtime friends — balanced service, shipping, and sales, keeping the momentum strong through every up and down the week had to offer.

And Melissa, the glue that holds it all together, managed the office, billing, accounting, receivables, and payables — all while greeting customers with a smile and keeping the shop stocked with everyone’s favorite snacks. (Let’s be honest — that’s probably the most important part.) 😄
A Toast to Tradition 🍺
At the end of a long week, Chad and Scott have a tradition that’s lasted nearly 15 years — they share a beer to mark the close of another hard-fought week.
No matter what the week brings — good deals, tough challenges, or just the grind of small business life — it always ends with a moment of gratitude, reflection, and a cold beer between two business partners who’ve been in it together since the start.
This week, we closed a big sale, wrapped up a mountain of work, and shared that beer — thanks to our good friend Jason Plouffe, who sent us our favorite brew in the country: Fiddlehead Brewing Co. out of Shelburne, Vermont. 🍻
(If you’re ever in the area, we’ll give you a pro tip — their pizza is just as good as the beer.) 🍕

While most people are kicking back on a Friday night, you’ll still find us in the shop — posting listings, organizing inventory, and prepping for another week of serving the microscopy community.
