🧰 Changing a Bulb? Here’s What to Know

Replacing a microscope bulb is typically simple—but it’s important to follow the proper steps to avoid damage to your microscope or the bulb:

Before You Start:

  • Turn off and unplug the microscope.

  • Wear gloves to prevent oils from your skin from damaging the bulb.

  • Make sure you have the correct replacement bulb (you can always check your manual or ask us!).

🔄 Steps to Replace a Bulb:

  1. Access the bulb housing (usually in the base).

  2. Remove the old bulb carefully (don't touch with bare fingers).

  3. Insert the new bulb securely.

  4. Reassemble the housing and power on the microscope.

  5. Test the light and adjust brightness if needed.
