Accucold introduces a new series of ultra low temperature chest freezers designed for reliable storage at -85ºC for laboratory, life science, and other institutional settings.
Features
Designed for highly specialized cold storage storage applications of biological samples, DNA/RNA material, chemicals, select vaccines and antibiotics, and other substances with strict low temperature requirements
Interior walls feature more than 8 layers of D-shaped cooling pipes to ensure increased contact with the freezer walls in order to ensure maximum insulation and product efficiency
Designed and constructed in Denmark
Includes two removable inner lids for added protection from ambient air when opening the outer lid
4 1/2" thick walls for added efficiency and stable cooling
Ships with 6 10-box shelves and 3 5-box shelves in stainless steel for added storage convenience
Exterior lock on the handle for reliable security (2 keys included)
Electronic microprocessor controls for precise temperature management, with temperature readout and controls externally located for added convenience
Temperature display can be alternated between Celsius or Fahrenheit to best suit your preference
Audible alarm warns if the interior temperature goes out of the set range
Easy and safe loading and unloading with a lid that remains open when lifted past 45º angles
Four wheels (front two locking) to allow easier mobility when cleaning or moving the unit
Static cooling for a stable interior
Front-located drain helps to make the defrosting process more convenient
Durable construction in a white finish for easy visibility
9V battery-powered audible alarm mounted in the rear sounds in the event of power failure
