Hermle Z207-A-CMB Compact Clinical Centrifuge with Combination Rotor
The Z207-A-CMB includes a convenient combination rotor that holds 4 x 15 ml and 4 x 50 ml tubes in the same rotor. With the combination rotor there's no longer a need switch rotors, or use adapters to centrifuge 15 ml and 50 ml tubes for tissue culture. You can even process them simultaneously! Along with the unique combination rotor, the Z207-A-CMB features the unique EZ-Scroll™ touch pad which gives you ease of control and a modern feel. An advanced microprocessor control allow for setting/displaying of the rotational speed in either rpm or rcf in increments of 10. In addition to retrieving saved programs, the easy to use front panel can be used to adjust accel/decel rates, run time, and change the end of run alarm tone. There is also a momentary spin function that will run while the button is pressed. Additionally the Z207-A-CMB features a sleep mode to save energy by shutting off after a certain time if not being used while on, which can be toggled on or off easily.

Efficient LCD Controlled Settings
The Z206A features a newly designed LCD control panel that provides efficient control over all settings with one ergonomically positioned adjustment knob. Operation of the centrifuge can be timed from 10 seconds to 99 hours (or continuous) and speed can be set and viewed in both rpm and rcf (up to 6,000 rpm/ 4,427 x g). If a load is not properly balanced, the imbalance sensor will stop operation of the unit. Three angle rotors are available for use with the Z206A. The 15 ml rotor has a capacity for twelve tubes while the 50 ml rotor will hold six. A microtube rotor is also available for 18 tubes. A swing out rotor is also available for 6 x 5 ml tubes. Optional adapters accommodate various tube sizes including standard conical tubes and round bottom blood tubes.
10 Levels of Acceleration and Deceleration
The centrifuge's modern control panel features a large digital display and easy turn knob for setting parameter values. The microprocessor maintains precise control over operation of the centrifuge offering ten levels of acceleration and deceleration settings and an imbalance sensor. Speed can be set or displayed in RPM or G-Force with both values visible at all times. Inputting a rotor code allows more exact G-Force conversion values.
