Nikon Inverted Microscope Eclipse TE2000-S with Phase & Hoffman Modulation Contrast
The Nikon Inverted Microscope Eclipse TE2000-S, equipped with Phase and Hoffman Modulation Contrast (HMC), is designed for advanced applications such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). It features a TE2000-S inverted stand with a binocular head, Bertrand lens, and a pair of CFI 10x/22 eyepieces. The stand includes a photo port on the side with a camera adapter. The microscope is equipped with an HMC Hoffman Modulation Condenser Model G6 and a 4-position turret that includes Ph1, HMC20, HMC40, and HMC60. Its 6-position nosepiece holds four objectives: Plan Fluor 10x Ph1, HMC 20x ELWD Plan Fluor, HMC 40x ELWD Plan Fluor, and HMC 60x ELWD Plan Fluor, with correction collars that adjust smoothly. Additionally, it includes a right-hand mechanical stage, a 12V 100W halogen lamphouse, two spare 12V 100W bulbs, a TE2-PS100W power supply, and a line cord.
In the context of IVF, this microscope is used to observe and manipulate cells and embryos under optimal conditions. The inverted stand allows for the easy placement of culture dishes, and the advanced optical systems, including phase and Hoffman modulation contrast, provide clear and detailed images of the cells. The multiple objectives and smooth correction collars enable precise focusing and magnification, essential for delicate IVF procedures. The mechanical stage and high-intensity halogen illumination ensure stable and bright visualization, critical for successful fertilization and embryo development.
