X-Cite XYLIS II is a high-performance, broad-spectrum LED fluorescence light source for compound and stereo microscopes — a modern arc‑lamp replacement built for reliability, versatility, and convenience. Using patented LaserLED Hybrid Drive® technology, it delivers continuous excitation from DAPI to Cy7 (360–770 nm) and covers a full range of fluorophores with peaks at 365/385, 430, 475, 545, 635, and 735 nm.
Choose between the XT730S (365 nm UV) or XT730L (385 nm UV) models. Both include a liquid‑light‑guide output, manual and automated control options (speedDIAL, TTL, USB, optional foot‑pedal), and deliver brightness comparable to traditional arc lamps — but with the longevity, instant ON/OFF, and low‑maintenance benefits of LEDs.
With whisper‑quiet operation (about 10 dB quieter than the previous generation), long LED life (≈ 25,000 hours), and broad spectral coverage, XYLIS II is ideal for fluorescence imaging, immunofluorescence, live-cell imaging, FISH, multicolor staining, and advanced microscopy workflows.
Key Benefits
-
Broad-spectrum LED output from 360–770 nm covering DAPI → Cy7 fluorophores.
-
Choice of 365 nm (XT730S) or 385 nm (XT730L) UV excitation to match existing DAPI filter sets.
-
High optical output rivaling arc lamps, while eliminating bulb replacements and reducing maintenance.
-
Instant ON/OFF, fast TTL/USB switching (100 µs TTL / 1 ms USB) — ideal for time-lapse, live-cell, or multi-color imaging.
-
Multiple control options: speedDIAL manual control, foot pedal, USB, TTL — supports both manual and automated workflows.
-
Whisper‑quiet, lab-friendly operation (≈ 10 dB quieter than predecessor) — great for shared or multi-station microscopy labs.
-
Long LED lifespan (~25,000 hours) with reduced energy use, no mercury, and consistent illumination over time.
